Sometimes BIGGER is truly Better:)

By now, most of you know that I am a huge Lancome fan.  There are many Lancome products that I use in my personal daily makeup routine.  My absolute favorite Lancome product is their Liquid Liner the Precision Point Artliner. I have written and blogged about it many times. Recently, I decided to hit up the Lancome Counter at Neiman Marcus.  I happened to have a gift card left over from Christmas and I couldn't think of a better way to use it!

So I wondered up to the counter and started playing with all the colors that I know and love but as I started to turn the corner of the counter I came across something that I had never seen before!  It was a breathtakingly, BEAUTIFUL  GIANT BRONZER COMPACT.  I did have to giggle a little bit at the giant size of this compact but it 100% caught my attention.  I have to admit this Bronzer defines the expression BIGGER IS BETTER.

Lancome's  Tropiques Minerale Bamboo Bronzer is limited edition so buy it and buy it soon.  Here is why you will love this product. It is light and silky, it smells great. The bronzer can be dusted on the nose, forehead, cheeks, brow bone and chin .  You can use it on your décolletage ( this is a fancy Lancome term for CLEAVAGE)  The best part , is that this bronzer  is a buildable product. It can go from a subtle glow to a more defined tan and can even be used as a contouring product.  Lancome has done it again... so start looking fresh and glowing with  Tropiques Minerale Bamboo Bronzer.

Oh and if you are hitting up the Lancome Counter in Neiman's , ask for Sonia Voluck  she is awesome and super helpful!

PS There is a super fun gift offer going on....

Lancome has a super gift with purchase and in honor of "CAMP GORGEOUS" on June 4th, Neiman Marcus has a great straw tote with assorted goodies in it....great for summer. Order beforehand and receive an extra Lancome gift . The qualifier for both is $85.00. What a great time to place your order.

Psssst...Greaseless Lightning

This past week I was perusing through the aisles at Ulta and I came across a product that I personally had never seen before.  The product was called ROCKAHOLIC Dirty Secret Dry Shampoo by Tigi

As soon as I saw this product I just had to have it.  One, because the packaging and marketing invoked my inner 80's Hairband Rocker Side and Two, I had never seen Spray On Dry Shampoo.( something I obviously had to try)

I left ULTA with a spring in my step thinking I had just discovered this HOT new product that no one had ever seen before.  I was thinking that this new innovative product was going to take over the beauty scene.

Much to my surprise as I started to research my new product  I discovered that it was the geniuses of the 70's who really created this DRY SHAMPOO Phenom. Back in the Super 70's there was a super cool product called Psssst.  Check out the Retro Ad below.

Regardless, I was eager to try the 2010 version of  Psssst that I had purchased, so when Saturday rolled around, I decided to give it a go.  I had entertained on Friday night so I had washed my hair in the early evening on Friday.  Now it was Saturday morning and my hair was in need of another washing if I was going to make it through the day without a baseball cap and ponytail.  Some people are able to maintain greaseless hair for two days but my hair needs to be washed on a daily basis.  Instead of washing my hair, I broke out my shower cap, hopped in the shower and took a quick shower, it was super speedy because I did not have to wash my long tresses.  Once I was out, It was time to break out the Rockaholic!  So I followed the directions on the spray can and I made sure to shake it up before applying it on the hair. I did the hair flip and sprayed the underside near the root and then flipped back over and sprayed the root area by the part and the sides in the front.
Voila...my hair was complete! BUT DID IT LAST????

I am thrilled to report that it worked and I loved it!  My hair was even looking good when I woke up Sunday morning but by that point, I was ready to wash that Rock right out of my hair.   So grove on over to Ulta and pick up some of this Rockaholic....it's addicting!

Opinion Poll: What will people sell next? Mother's Breast Milk Soap?

Ever since I started http://www.cutietip.com/  I spend a lot of time researching and testing all the new or undiscovered beauty products that are out there on the market.  Beauty has become BIG business.  It seems all sorts of companies, celebrities and individuals are creating new lines for us to try. I think this is great and exciting.

Occasionally, I do come across some beauty items that are pretty JAW DROPPING and today was one of those days. I found a website where not only is there a recipe for creating personalized BREAST MILK SOAP (Click Here for the recipe)  but they are actually selling pre made MOTHER'S BREAST MILK SOAP.  Yes, it is true...Freedom Pond Moon Works has created "MOTHER'S MOON BREAST MILK SOAP" and here is how the creator describes it:

"Mothers Moon Breast milk Soap contains my own all natural breast milk, olive oil, honey, and glycerin. This soap is mixed and molded on the full moon, then "rests" for two moons before being lovingly wrapped. These bars are typically three ounces and are available in the following:

unscented * unscented w/oatmeal * lavender w/oatmeal $3

In my opinion, if you want to take the time to create your own Breast Milk Soap then what you do behind closed doors is your business BUT buying another individuals  BREAST MILK SOAP is not for me.  I love to try all the new products I discover but I am going to have to pass on this one.  NOW, if any of you out there decide to take the plunge and buy a bar feel free to email me with your review or post it on here in the comments section. For now, I will stick with DOVE unscented for my shower.

Beauty Inspiration for the day...

Recently, I have been reading lots and lots of stories and hearing lots and lots of soundbites on "How to achieve that perfect beach body before summer"  Most of these have covered cleanses, exercise techniques, new laser surgeries, even a BABY FOOD DIET.   Everyone seems to have a different theory on what works and every individual has their own techniques.

Today, I read an article on some tips from Dr. Oz ( yes, that guy from Oprah who now has his own show)  I want to give Dr. Oz a huge shout out and some super Jazz Hands because I really liked what he had to say.  So, on that note, below is my favorite tip from him and my Beauty Inspiration for the day...

From the Article ,  Dr. Oz 16 Tips for Summer Weight Loss

"SEE YOURSELF AS FABULOUS": Successful athletes do this all the time -- before they even start a race, they picture that they've already crossed the finish line. So take a page from the pro-athlete playbook and before you count a single calorie, picture how successful your bathing suit reveal will be. "Visualize the first time you'll be out at the beach, walking around with confidence," said Dr. Oz. "You'll have lost some of the extra pounds that make a huge difference in how you look in a bathing suit and you're going to go out there and you're going to look hot. Focus on how you think that will feel and shoot for that."

You go Dr. OZ... This man knows what he is talking about,  Oh and by the way, he also thinks Hot Sex with your partner is a good way to divert food cravings!  Yippppeeee ....no baby food for me!!!!!
